Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of our web hosting, domain registration, VPS, dedicated server, and related services. Violation of this policy may result in suspension or termination of your services.


1. Introduction


This AUP is designed to protect our customers, our network, and the Internet community. By using our services, you agree to comply with this policy. We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time.


2. Prohibited Content


You may NOT host, store, distribute, or link to any of the following:


2.1 Illegal Content

  • Content that violates any local, state, national, or international law
  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) - **ZERO TOLERANCE**
  • Content promoting terrorism or violent extremism
  • Illegal drug sales or manufacturing instructions
  • Counterfeit goods or fraudulent services
  • Stolen financial data or personal information

  • 2.2 Malicious Content

  • Viruses, malware, trojans, or ransomware
  • Phishing pages or credential harvesting sites
  • Botnet command and control servers
  • Exploit kits or hacking tools used maliciously
  • Keyloggers or spyware

  • 2.3 Intellectual Property Violations

  • Pirated software, movies, music, or games
  • Unauthorized distribution of copyrighted material
  • Counterfeit products or trademark violations
  • Circumvention tools for DRM (in certain jurisdictions)

  • 2.4 Fraudulent Content

  • Pyramid schemes or Ponzi schemes
  • Fraudulent investment schemes
  • Fake lottery or prize scams
  • Impersonation of businesses or individuals
  • Deceptive advertising practices

  • 2.5 Adult Content Restrictions

  • Child exploitation material (ZERO TOLERANCE - reported to authorities)
  • Non-consensual intimate images
  • Adult content on shared hosting (dedicated/VPS only with approval)
  • Content depicting illegal acts

  • 2.6 Harassment and Abuse

  • Doxing or publishing private information
  • Cyberstalking or harassment
  • Hate speech targeting protected groups
  • Threats of violence
  • Defamatory content

  • 3. Prohibited Activities


    3.1 Network Abuse


    Spam and Unsolicited Communications:

  • Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam)
  • Operating open mail relays
  • Email harvesting or scraping
  • SMS spam or unsolicited calls
  • Social media spam automation

  • Network Attacks:

  • Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks
  • Denial of Service (DoS) attacks
  • SYN floods, UDP floods, or amplification attacks
  • Network scanning or probing without authorization
  • IP spoofing or packet manipulation

  • Unauthorized Access:

  • Attempting to access systems without authorization
  • Brute force attacks against any system
  • Exploiting vulnerabilities in any system
  • Using compromised credentials
  • Bypassing authentication mechanisms

  • 3.2 Resource Abuse


    Shared Hosting Specific:

  • Running processes that consume excessive CPU
  • Using more than allocated memory
  • Storing excessive files or data
  • Running background daemons or cron jobs excessively
  • Cryptocurrency mining

  • Email Abuse:

  • Sending more than 500 emails per hour (shared hosting)
  • High bounce rates (>10%)
  • Spam complaints exceeding 0.1%
  • Forged email headers

  • Bandwidth Abuse:

  • Using services for file distribution (use CDN instead)
  • Hosting large media files for high-traffic sites
  • Proxying or tunneling excessive traffic
  • BitTorrent or P2P activities

  • 3.3 Security Violations


  • Operating vulnerability scanners against third parties
  • Distributing hacking tools maliciously
  • Providing hosting for criminal activities
  • Money laundering or financial fraud
  • Identity theft services

  • 4. Domain Name Restrictions


    4.1 Domain Content Policy

    Domain names may not be used for:

  • Phishing or brand impersonation
  • Typosquatting for malicious purposes
  • Spam domain networks
  • Malware distribution

  • 4.2 WHOIS Accuracy

  • Providing false WHOIS information
  • Using privacy services to hide illegal activities
  • Failure to respond to ICANN verification requests

  • 4.3 Registry Policies

    All domain registrations must comply with:

  • ICANN policies
  • Registry-specific policies
  • Country-code TLD requirements

  • 5. Email and Communication


    5.1 Email Best Practices Required

  • Proper SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records
  • Valid sender addresses
  • Working unsubscribe mechanisms
  • Compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL

  • 5.2 Mailing List Requirements

  • Double opt-in for subscriptions
  • Clear sender identification
  • Honor unsubscribe requests within 10 days
  • Maintain suppression lists

  • 5.3 Transactional vs. Marketing Email

  • Keep transactional and marketing emails separate
  • Marketing emails require explicit consent
  • Transactional emails should not contain marketing

    Services that require age verification must implement appropriate measures.

    We encourage compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG) where applicable.


    8. Enforcement


    8.1 Violation Response


    Level 1 - Warning:

  • First minor violation
  • 24-hour notice to remedy
  • No service interruption

  • Level 2 - Suspension:

  • Repeated minor violations
  • Single serious violation
  • Immediate suspension pending review
  • Customer must respond within 48 hours

  • Level 3 - Termination:

  • Critical violations (malware, CSAM, etc.)
  • Repeated serious violations
  • Immediate termination
  • No refund provided

  • 8.2 Investigation Process

  • Violation detected or reported
  • Initial assessment by abuse team
  • Evidence collection and preservation
  • Customer notification (unless law enforcement involved)
  • Customer response period
  • Final determination and action

  • 8.3 Appeals Process

  • Submit appeal within 7 days of action
  • Provide evidence of compliance
  • Review completed within 5 business days
  • Decision is final

  • 9. Reporting Abuse


    9.1 How to Report

  • 10.3 Subuser/Reseller Obligations

    Resellers must:

  • Enforce this AUP with their customers
  • Respond to abuse reports within 24 hours
  • Maintain accurate customer records
  • Report violations to us promptly

  • 11. Indemnification


    You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims resulting from your violation of this AUP or any illegal activities conducted through your account.


    12. Changes to This Policy


    We may update this AUP at any time. Material changes will be notified via email and posted on our website with at least 30 days notice.
