By accessing this website or purchasing our services, you agree to the legally binding terms below.

1. Introduction

Welcome to DOMAIN REGISTRATION INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED(“Domain India”). By accessing our website or purchasing our services, you agree to these legally binding Terms & Conditions.

These terms govern your use of all services including domain registration, web hosting, VPS hosting, SSL certificates, and related products.

3. Account Registration

  • You must be at least 18 years old to access or use our services.
  • During registration, you agree to submit accurate, updated, and truthful information.
  • You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Payment & Billing

  • Advance payment is mandatory for all services.
  • Pricing for our services may be revised from time to time to reflect underlying costs including foreign exchange rates, vendor licence fees, infrastructure costs, and tax / duty changes. The current pricing for any service is displayed on our public pricing page and on each renewal invoice. The price shown on your renewal invoice constitutes notice of the applicable rate; payment of the invoice constitutes acceptance. You may decline a renewal at any time before payment without penalty by allowing the service to expire or by raising a support ticket. We do not undertake to provide separate prior notice of price changes beyond the renewal invoice itself.
  • Non-payment may result in service suspension or termination.
  • Expired domains risk permanent deletion and non-recovery.

Auto-Renewal Disclaimer: We do not perform auto-renewals by default. Clients must manually renew domains and services via the client area. Expired services are subject to deletion or loss.

5. Goods and Services Tax (GST) for International Customers

All invoices are issued inclusive of 18% GST as required under the Indian Goods and Services Tax Act, regardless of the billing-address country.

For services supplied to customers with a foreign billing address, GST refund may be available under the export-of-services provisions of the IGST Act, subject to all of the following conditions:

  • Payment is received as convertible foreign currency inward remittance to our SWIFT-enabled bank account, with a Foreign Inward Remittance Certificate (FIRC / eFIRC) issued by our Authorised Dealer bank.
  • A service charge is applicable for FIRC issuance and refund processing, communicated at the time of request.
  • Payments received via Indian payment rails (UPI, domestic cards, INR-settled wallets, INR-settled PayPal, Razorpay-INR, Stripe-INR) do not qualify for FIRC and are not eligible for GST refund regardless of billing-address country, as a structural rule under Section 2(6) IGST Act.

To pursue GST refund on a specific invoice, please pay it via foreign-currency wire transfer to our account and request an FIRC + refund through a support ticket. Bulk wires covering multiple invoices in one remittance are accepted and result in a single FIRC against the batch.

Refunds (if applicable) are issued to the original payment method only. Refunds are net of any third-party vendor costs already incurred for the partial period used (control-panel licences, anti-virus / WAF licences, backup retention, domain registration / renewal, SSL certificates). Domain registration is non-refundable in any case once registered at the registry.

7. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

The following activities are strictly prohibited across all our services:

Malware, viruses, phishing, or illegal content
Spamming or bulk unsolicited emails
Copyright or trademark infringement
Deceptive advertising or fraud
Hosting adult/pornographic content
Cryptocurrency mining without permission
DDoS attacks or hacking attempts
Reselling services without authorization

Violation of these policies may result in immediate account suspension without notice or refund.

8. Uptime & Support

  • Uptime: We maintain a target of 99.9% server uptime with redundant infrastructure.
  • Support Channels: Available via ticketing system, email, live chat, and WhatsApp. We do not provide telephone / callback support.
  • VPS Plans: Semi-managed unless full management is explicitly purchased.

9. Domain Policy Compliance

  • Comply with ICANN regulations for gTLDs (.com, .net, .org, etc.)
  • Follow NIXI/INRegistry rules for .IN domains
  • Adhere to registry-specific dispute resolution policies (UDRP/INDRP)

10. .IN Domain KYC/e-KYC Requirements

As an accredited registrar under NIXI, we are mandated to collect, verify, and retain valid KYC/e-KYC documents for all .IN domain registrations.

Applicable Domains:

.IN.CO.IN.ORG.IN.NET.IN.FIRM.IN.GEN.IN.IND.IN

Indian Registrants:

  • Aadhaar Card (preferably via DigiLocker)
  • PAN Card
  • Passport
  • Voter ID
  • Driving Licence
  • Certificate of Incorporation with signatory ID

Foreign Registrants:

  • Passport (mandatory)
  • Government-issued photo ID
  • Declaration connecting registrant to India

Submission Deadline: All documents must be submitted within 7 calendar days of domain registration. Non-compliance may lead to domain suspension (SERVERHOLD status).

11. Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services for:

  • Violation of Terms or Acceptable Use Policy
  • Legal obligations, abuse reports, or fraudulent activity
  • Non-payment or chargeback attempts

No refunds are applicable in case of termination for breach.

12. Limitation of Liability

We shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services.

Our maximum liability is strictly limited to the total amount paid by you over the last 12 months preceding any claim.

13. Force Majeure

We are not liable for service delays, interruptions, or failures due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including:

Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, storms)
Power outages, ISP failures, cyberattacks
Regulatory changes or government actions
War, civil unrest, pandemics, or labor strikes

14. Dispute Resolution

  • All disputes shall be governed by the laws of Tamil Nadu, India.
  • Arbitration may be initiated under the Indian Arbitration & Conciliation Act.
  • Jurisdiction lies with courts in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu.

15. Data Protection

We strictly follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP). Your personal data is:

  • Never sold or rented
  • Used only for service delivery, support, and legal compliance
  • Stored securely with restricted access
